As NASS Resumes, APC Senators Disappoint Oshiohmole, Embrace Peace With Saraki

Despite Adams and the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) directive to its members to impeach Mr. Bukola Saraki, the Senate President, the Sanators have discarded the directive and are mending fences with SarKi.

Adams Oshiomhole, national chairman of the APC, had asked senators of the ruling party to remove the senate president.

The only way Senator Saraki can avoid impeachment is for him to do what is honourable by stepping down,” Oshimohole had said when the national assembly was on recess.

On resumption, Senators went into a close door meeting with Saraki where all issues were trashed and reconciliation sort, insider source say.

A source said senators have taken the line of peace and thrown away the Saraki impeachment plan.

Why will we impeach Saraki when our own party the APC is not fair to us, an insider source say.

The Lawmakers after the closed door meeting agreed that there is need to ensure peace at the National Assembly.
