About 20 persons have been kidnapped at Zuma Rock, Niger state, a community close to Abuja.
Armed men who carried out the kidnap on Tuesday at about 8:00pm marched the victims for over 5 kilometres in the Bush.
The victims were said to be coming back from work and market respectively before the armed men who were dressed in military uniform close to a military check point stormed and kidnapped them.
Some of the victims have been released while some are been held until ransom is paid.
A survivor told Daily Trust that when they were freed from the Kidnappers, they met the police and army on the road guiding the belongings of those kidnapped.
Mr. Isa Rambo, the Suleja Police Area Commander while confirming the incident said he is unaware that those kidnapped have not been released.
However another source who sells at Wuse market said his colleague that was kidnapped is still in the custody while the kidnappers are demanding for a ransom from the relatives before he can be freed.
