Any Ibo governor that comes abroad must be attacked – IPOB vow

The Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB,  have said that any Ibo governor from the southeast that come abroad to attend any function must be attacked.

The group say they have been given directives to carry out attacks on
Ebonyi, Anambra, Abia and Enugu Governors.

Others the group vows to attack are  prominent indigenes of the South East.

The group made this known few hours they carried out an attack on  former Nigeria Deputy Senate President Mr. Ike Ekweremadu on Saturday at Germany where he was attending  Second Annual Cultural Festival and Convention organised by Ndi-Igbo in Nurnberg.

Mr. Emma Powerful, the group spokesperson while interacting with
Punch newspaper, disclosed the group plan.

Mr. Powerful, said the group has identified the governors as target of attacks for the roles they played against the Ibos.

He assured that if the governors dare to step their feet abroad, they will be attacked.

He described the governors as  traitors who have sold the lives of their people to their oppressors.

He accused the governors of conspiring with the Nigeria government to use the military under the cover of Operation Python Dance to kill and torture Ibos.

The southeast governors allowed  the Nigerian state to proscribe and tagged IPOB a terrorist group but have remained silent as Fulani herdsmen continue to carry out series of attacks in the South East, the group alleges.

The Nuremberg IPOB family in Germany, in keeping with the long-standing directive from our leader to hound all instigators of the Operation Python Dance, is glad to report that Ike Ekweremadu was confronted and duly hounded out of a so-called New Yam Festival event in Germany.

This should serve as a warning to Nnia Nwodo, Dave Umahi, Okezie Ikpeazu, Willie Obiano and others that any day we find them in a public event abroad, they will be humiliated. IPOB is strategically located in over 100 countries around the world. Anywhere we find them, they will be dealt with.” Powerful said.

An attack the Nigerian government has since condemned  describing it as shameful and embarrassing
