Bello Kogi Gov: lawmakers who booed Buhari are kids, lack home training

Mr. Yahaya Bello, the Kogi State Governor has said Nigerian lawmakers who booed Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, his country president at the Parliament during the presentation of the 2019 national budget are kids that were not properly trained by their parents.

Lawmakers had on Wednesday booed Buhari when he appeared before them to present the 2019 budget.
An action that has angered Bello, making him describe them as kids that lack home training from their parents.

The governor speaking with the state house correspondents at the Anchor Borrowers Programme Gala in Abuja took a swipe on the lawmakers.

He accused the lawmakers of working to destroy Nigerian democracy.

First of all two distinct human beings, a father, a gentleman, a man who has the interest of the country at heart, President Muhammadu Buhari displaced his stuff today and those who are self-centered, selfish and bent on destroying this country and the democracy have also shown themselves today,” the governor said.

When you have a child that is not well trained by his parent he constitutes a menace to the society and that is exactly what we witnessed today in the National Assembly, Bello added.
