Bello victory shakes as Supreme Court rejects INEC appeal, endorsed forensic evidence

Mr. Yahaya Bello, the Kogi State governor victory in the last election shakes as the Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) appeal.

The apex court while dismissing the appeal endorsed the decision of the Court of Appeal on the use of forensic examinations of INEC documents at the ongoing Kogi governorship election petition tribunal.

Mr. Sylvester Nguta, led the five-man panel that ruled on the verdict.

Mr. Musa Wada, the candidate of People Democratic Party (PDP) has challenged Bello’s victory at the poll, alleging irregularities in the Kogi state election.
