Buhari Coronavirus speech brought hunger, bondage to Nigerians – Shehu Sani

Mr. Shehu Sani, a former Nigerian lawmaker from Kaduna state has said Mr. Muhammadu Buhari; the Nigerian president coronavirus speech has put Nigerians into hunger and bondage.

Sani said, before Buhari’s speech, the citizens had food, and after his speech, the people had no food and freedom.

“Before thy King speaks, thee hath no food; After thy King speaks, thee hath no food and no freedom; The Words of thy King hath brought thee hunger and bondage” he tweeted.

Earlier, WAR had reported how Sani predicted that poor Nigerians will revolt against the Coronavirus order.

He said, when the poor will have nothing to eat as a result of the lockdown order, they will break the law and revolt.

Some states in Nigerian in efforts to contain the spread of Coronavirus closed down business and restricted movements.

Mr. Muhamadu Buhari while addressing the nation on Sunday on the coronavirus announced that Lagos, Abuja, and Ogun state will be on total lockdown for 14 days starting from Monday.

A decision Buhari said was to effectively contain the spread of coronavirus in the country.

Sani has since warned that the poor will revolt when their suffering becomes unbearable.
