Mr. Muhammadu Buhari the Nigeria president has appealed to the Nigeria Labour Union not to embark on its planned strike action on Tuesday saying the rot PDP left behind is affecting his ability to meet their demand.
Mr.Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Buhari said he made the appeal at presidential Villa on Monday at the reception of Retired Career Ambassadors of Nigeria (RCAN).
Femi said, the president is appealing on the labour union to put into consideration his efforts in rebuilding the economy and fixing infrastructural deficit the People Democratic Party left behind for him.
Buhari also begged the labour to pity him saying they are away of the liability he inherited from the PDP with little resources to work with.
I have been in all parts of Nigeria and have seen how bad the roads are and electricity despite the admittance of PDP that they spent $16bn on the sector, Buhari said.
I have delivered on my three campaign promises, security, economy and fighting corruption and with the workers support I will do better, Buhari assured.
