Cross Rivers Primary School despite N2 billion school feeding programme

The children in  Linus Primary School in Okwa 1 community of Boki Local Government Area of Cross Rivers State have continued to learn in a terrible condition despite N2 billion budgeted for school feeding programme in 2018 budget.

Mr. Ben Ayede, the Cross State Governor had in the 2018 budget allocated the sum of N2 billion to school feeding.

This is even as many schools in the state are in terrible dilapidated condition and need urgent intervention.

Ayade is not the only offender, across Nigeria, there are huge number of dilapidated public primary and secondary schools, forcing parents to pull their children out of public school and enrol them to private school.

Eduplana, a civic tech organisation, that uses data to monitor public education neglect and financing in Nigeria who exposed the terrible dilapidated condition of the school has since asked the Cross Rivers government to help fix the school.
