Despite N6.5 million, No Generator, Borehole Seen in Keffi NYSC Camp

The National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) Keffi camp is yet to get the delivery of a Generator despite the state government appropriating the sum of N3.5 million for the purchase of the generator.

Tracka, an organization working to ensure quality delivery of government project visited the camp to inspect the projects.

Tracka senior official told WEST AFRICA REPORTERS (WAR) that the generator is yet to be delivered to the Keffi camp. Our team was in NYSC Keffi camp to ascertain the project implementation, but there was nothing seen on the ground, he told this newspaper.

Mr. Onuh Victor in a phone conversation confirmed to our reporter that the camp generator was stolen and the state government has made provision to replace it and wondered why the camp has no generator at the moment.

Worse still, the sum of N3 million was appropriated to provide two boreholes in the camp, Tracka official said their team visit confirm the project was not executed.

Effort by WAR to get the NYSC to respond was not successful as they did not respond to messages sent.
