Mr. Dino Melaye, a Nigerian Senator from Kogi state has said Mr. Yahaya Bello, the Kogi state governor did no project in three years.
Using his twitter handle, he has since challenged the governor to invite Muhammadu Buhari, Nigerian President to commission a single project if he has any project to his credit.
WEST AFRICA REPORTERS (WAR) had last week published how Bello paid N4k to teachers after owing them six months salaries.
In the publication, Mr. Emmanuel, a resident of Ajaka in Igalamela Local Government Area of Kogi state narrated how some persons were paid N4k while others got N6k and N1.500.
Mr. Emmanuel told this newspaper that his colleague who was supposed to be paid N56k was paid N12k.
Another primary school teacher at Ajaka who did not want to be mentioned and is entitled to N56k and was paid N12k lamented his agony and was worried why Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian president will allow Kogi governor subject teachers to this kind of inhumane treatment.
Mrs. Catherine, who preferred to give only her first name and is already on the sick bed speaking to WEST AFRICA REPORTERS (WAR) said she has not been paid for six months, she recounted how she has gone through predicaments as a result of non payment of salaries by the state Governor.
Bello has become very unpopular among kogites especially the civil servants who have suffered huge predicament under his administration as a result of his inability to pay workers salaries.
