Election: Kogi gov Bello flags-off Dekina-Ayingba road construction

As the state Governorship election draws closer, Mr. Yahaya Bello the Kogi state Governor has flagged off the construction of Dekina – Ayingba road.

The governor also promised that he will make sure all parts of the state get equal distribution of infrastructure.

This Bello said while flagging off the road.

My hunger to see Kogi people have improved infrastructure and live a decent live reason I am forced to construct the road, Bello said.

The governor disclosed that the project that was given to TEC Engineering Construction Company limited and will last for nine months and will be completed.

He pointed out that the construction will end years of sufferings users of the road have passed through over the years.

Speaking at Mr. Usman Obaje, the Ejeh of Dekina, Palace, the governor assured that the road will be completed as soon as possible saying there will be no delay in the project.

He promised the traditional ruler that road leading to his palace will be fixed by the government pointing out that the road is in a sorry state.

The traditional ruler was full of appreciation and thanked Bello for awarding the road after over 68 years of neglect.

He equally reminded the governor not to abandon the project as other previous government had done in the past 

The governor was at the inauguration of the newly-built Igala Unity House and appealed to all the people to support his administration and see the project as a rallying point.
