Following the candlelight session held in honour of victims of the police brutality in various cities in Nigeria, Vice president Mr. Yemi Osinbajo has apologized to his country youth.
The vice president apologizing to Nigerian youth via his official Twitter hand, assured them that the government will immediately take action in ensuring that police brutality comes to an end.
He said several meetings are ongoing to bring a lasting solution to the issue, admitting that they are aware of the feelings of the people.
Yemi Osinbajo sadly recounted how the people meant to safeguard lives and properties are the ones taking it.
” I fully understand how the young people feel, that we have been silent for too long and have not done enough. These frustrations are justified”, he said.
