Ethiopia now has a new female president as Mulatu resigns

Ethiopian is set to welcome a new female President. The country parliament is set to announce her presidency under the ruling Ethiopian Peoples Revolutionary Democratic Front, EPRDF’s dispensation.

The new president Sahle-Work Zewde has served her nation as ambassador in different capacities.

Mr. Mulatu Teshome, the country president resigned on Wednesday and has since communicated his decision to the the Parliament, the State news agency ENA reported.

The house who has the constitutional duty to name his successor will make official the country ever first president.
