Extra: Ondo gov, deputy budget N20 million for phone calls

Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, the Ondo state governor has budgeted the sum of N13 million for a telephone calls while that of his deputy is for N5 million and that of senior special assistants to the governor N2 million.

The budgetary provisions was contained in the Appropriation Act that was passed by the State House January this year and was made was presented to the public last week.

The state also budgeted sum of  N1.066 billion for gift during festivals and children’s party and the  entertainment of visitors at the governor office.

Other components of the budget are  N107 million meant for travels, N2 million for electricity and N25 million for office stationery.

Worse still, the governor during the  presentation of the budget before the state house of assembly said, it is targeted at developing the state and completing the all projects.
