The All Progressives Congress (APC) rally held in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital on Tuesday has recorded four deaths.
Those who died were said to have been stampeded.
Mr. Justus Preye, a witness who spoke to WEST AFRICA REPORTERS (WAR) via telephone said the closure of Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium entrance gate where the rally took place was responsible for the deaths.
He narrated how some persons where stampeded on while trying to force the stadium gate open as the crowd await Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, APC presidential candidate arrival.
Apart from those who died, Preye said many perons sustained injuries and have been taken to hospital for treatment.
