Mr. Musa Umar, Magajin Garin Daura has been kidnapped from his house at Daura, the home town of Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigeria president.
Umar was picked on Wednesday night after Magrib prayer.
He is Fatima Musa father, the wife of Colonel Mohammed Abubakar, the Aide de Camp (ADC), to the Nigerian president.
Witness say the kidnappers who came in a 406 Peugeot vehicle short sporadically to disperse crowd before taken Umar away.
Katsina state police command is yet to issue official statement on the incident.
