Earlier, WAR had reported how Mr. Sanusi Lamido, the deposed Emir of Kano who was banished and sent to Awe area to Nasarawa state and put under detention is set to depart his detention room with his friend, Mr. Nasir El-rufai, the Kaduna state governor.
This is coming less than three hours the court ordered on Friday that Lamido is immediately released from detention, saying that the act negates the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and that is a gross abuse of his fundamental rights.
In preparation to leave his detention room, Lamido luggage is currently being offloaded from the house to El-rufai cars in preparation to depart his Awe exile home with his friend.
Earlier, El-rufai had left Kaduna on Friday morning for Awe to see his deposed fried, and, during Lamido’s predicament, the Kaduna governor gave two political appointments to Lamido while in detention.
He first gave him board member, Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA) , and, Chancellor Kaduna state University that followed in less than 24 hours.
