The Kaduna state coronavirus lockdown imposed by Mr. Nasir El-Rufai, the state governor will be relaxed on Tuesday, Daily Nigerian reports.
Sources at the Kaduna state government house said the state governor had finalized consultations and will be relaxing the lockdown on Tuesday.
The insider sources say places of worship would be allowed but will operate within specified hours and under strict observance of COVID-19 preventive guidelines
The sources added that markets in Kaduna will also operate following a guideline.
Kaduna state has been under lockdown for over a month and two weeks, a measure the state government said was to contain the spread of coronavirus.
