Kaduna South Primary Healthcare in terrible state despite N13.1 billion  allocation

Kaduna state primary healthcare continues to be in a terrible condition despite the sum of N13.1 billion  allocated to health sector.

Comprehensive primary health care centre at television community in  Kaduna South Local Government Area of Kaduna State is in a terrible dilapidated condition.

This is even as the state in her 2019 appropriation, said Education and health have allocation of N39.14 billion which is 41% of the N94 billion allocated to capital budget.

In the breakdown, Mr. Nasir Elrufai, the state Governor, said Education has a capital budget of N25.4 billion while Health has N13.1 billion.

The Governor said the allocation is
a concrete demonstration of his government desire to put people first.

Worse still, television community continues to suffer while the governor promise is yet to be seen in the provision of healthcare in some communities across the state which television community has become a pointer case.

Tracka who exposed the terrible nature of the healthcare, has since appealed to the governor to help fix the hospital.

Miss. Josephine Dayila, who spoke to WEST AFRICA REPORTERS (WAR) via a telephone conversation, said the over 2,000 community residents depend on the hospital for their medical care.

She narrated how resident are dying of sicknesses that can easily be cured.

She has since appealed to the state government to renovate and equip the hospital in order to provide healthcare delivery to community residents. 

WAR could not immediately reach out to Kaduna state government for a response over the terrible nature of the healthcare.
