Katsina residents protest bandits attacks, say Buhari incompetent

A huge number of Katsina residents the home state of Mr. Muhammadu Buhari has trooped out on the street to protest bandit attacks in their area.

The residents who carried out the protest on Tuesday at the Yan Tumaki in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State were seen blaming Buhari describing him as an incompetent leader who could not protect his people.

The resident also blamed Mr. Aminu Wasari, the Katsina state governor as not showing the capacity to protect his people from the bandit’s attacks.

One of the Katsina residents was reported to have told, Sahara Reporters that residents of the area now lived in fear as security agencies in the state appear helpless.

“Is it not shameful and embarrassing that this ugly security threat is happening daily in the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the Chief Security Officer of the country?

“It’s glaring both the President and Governor Masari are a failure, they have repeatedly failed us. They have to be alive to their constitutional duties of protecting the citizens,” he said.

Katsina has been worse hit by the bandits’ attacks with over 200 persons killed in just a few days.
