Kemi Certificate Forgery, A False Allegation— APC Govt Says

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) says it does not bother about the forgery denting the finance minister, Kemi Adeosun because the allegation is false.

PREMIUM TIMES broke the story how kemi forged her NYSC certificate

APC government reacting to Kemi certificate forgery, Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesperson, Mr. Garba Shehu, said the certificate forgery against kemi is a lie that is yet to be proven.

Shehu, said this when responding to an allegation made about a top official in the presidency.

Nigerians want us to throw Kemi out for an allegation that has not been proven, no that is not how it works, we need to investigate it by following all the due process of investigation, Shehu said.

We will do the needful when we have all facts when the investigation is concluded.

An allegation remains so until proven otherwise, give us the time to carry out the investigation, the spokesman said.

Adeosun and other indicted officials that are been disgraced have families, we are sure their innocence will remove the stain.

Nigerians and the world are worried that, the country has done nothing regarding Kemi certificate forgery while she has successfully prosecuted Mr.James Lebi-Ayodele, a civil servant for falsifying his professional accounting, ICAN, certificate.

Kemi case is a test case for APC, although the evidence clearly shows that she must have forged her NYSC certificate, the APC government continues to pretend it does not know she has committed a crime.

Kemi claims she was 22 years when she graduated from the university, the NYSC Act does not allow for 22 years graduate to be granted an exception, what that means is that from the outset, Kemi has the intention of deceit.

Often Nigerians have accused APC of covering up those in the party who ordinarily should be facing trial.

The statement of Shehu on Monday shows clearly the government unwillingness to prosecute her for forgery.
