Kidnapped Kaduna School students, teachers still in captivity after N3.6 million ransom paid

Six girls kidnapped from Engravers College and two teachers are still in captivity after the sum of N3.6 million  ransom has been paid to the kidnappers.

Kidnapped from the school located at Kakau Daji community in Chikun Local government area of Kaduna state, parents of the kidnapped kids contributed N3.6 million and paid to the kidnappers as ransom.

The kidnappers collected the ransom and refused to free the girls and their two teachers, TheCable an online media reports.

A source who has a good knowledge of the parents contributions, said parents are worried about the lives of their kids in the hands of kidnappers.

Worse still, the kidnappers collected the N3.6 million ransom and refused to contact the parents and kept the kids in their captive.
 
Community sources say parent of the kidnapped kids have turned prayer warriors praying day and night for the release if their kids.

Kidnapers stormed the school on the 3rd of this month and kidnapped six girls and two teachers from the female hostel.

Although the police and Mr. Nasir el-elrufai, the Kaduna state Governor assured of their release,  the girls have stayed about 10 days in captivity while the parents cry and hope in God for them to be freed.
