Mr. Yahaya Bello, the Kogi state governor appears to have gotten the endorsement of youth from his state.
Coordinators of National Youth Council of Nigeria across the 21 Local Government Areas in the state donated N2 million to the Governor to buy his nomination form for his second term bid.
The state will be holding governorship election by November 2nd.
An election the youth say they are solidly behind the governor and have donated money to prove their support for Bello.
Mr. Abdullahi Adamu, who led other youth to the state government house on Monday to present the money to the Governor say they contributed the money to support Bello second term bid as a mark to show their support for the governor.
Adamu pointed out that Bello has done well, putting Kogi state into developmental stride. He appealed to the youth and other kogites to ensure Bello is elected by November 2nd.
The youth leader assured Bello of his resolution to mobilize youth across the state for massive votes in his favour.
Mr. Edward Onoja, Chief of Staff, who received the youth on behalf of the governor, said they appreciate the support given to Bello administration by the youth.
The youth organisation also donated shirts and face caps with inscriptions messages for Bello November 2nd election campaign.
