Lai in London, says Buhari has wiped out corruption in Nigeria

Mr. Lai Mohammed, the Nigeria’ s minister of information, has disclosed that Mr. Muhammadu  Buhari, Nigeria President has wiped off corruption in Nigeria.

Mr. Mohammed made the disclosure in an interview with the Voice of America (VOA).

He stressed the Buhari will use his second term to consolidate on the gains made in the fight against corruption.

Mohammed spoke in London where he granted audience to media and other think tanks to discuss Buhari achievements.

He pointed out that corruption is the major cause of poverty in Nigeria saying the phenomenon must be addressed to a stand still.

The minister say 55 Nigerians under the People Democratic Party adminstration shared N1.3 billion.

Buhari used his four years in office cleaning corruption instituted by PDP in its 16 years, Muhammad added.

On insecurity, Mohammed said, Buhari adminstration has perfotmed better than Mr. Goodluck Jonathan, former Nigeria president adminstration and pointing out that the country is more secured now, compared to what she had in 2015 under the PDP government.

He said Buhari governmet has defeated Boko Haram in the northeast and farmers/herdsmen clash in Benue.

He also pointed out that bandits killings in Zamfara and Kaduna have been adequately put under control.
