Living faith church jails man for illegally entering its premises

Mr. Ibrahim Ibuoye has been jailed by the Ogun State Magistrates Court sitting in Ota for illegally entering into the living church promises.

The suspect was accused of breaking the church fence before forcefully gaining entrance.

Ibuoye has a three-count charge ranging from malicious damage, forceful entry and conspiracy.

Mr. Abdulkareem Mustapha, the prosecutor told the court that the accused committed the offence on the 20th day of February at the Feru community.

Mr. Akanbi, the accused lawyer, prayed the court to grant him bail on liberal term.

However, the court granted the accused bail in the sum of N1 million with two sureties.

The court demanded that the sureties live within the premises of its jurisdiction, and, must provide evidence of tax payment.

The case was however adjourned until Feb. 26 for further hearing, while the accused has been taken to jail for his inability to meet the bail conditions.
