Nigerian police arrest man in Gombe for insulting Buhari

Mr. Usman Mohammed has been arrested by the police in Gombe for allegedly insulting Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian President, and Mr. Muhammadu Yahaya the Gombe State Governor.

Mohammed was caught in a video that has since been seen by many where he was attacking Buhari and the Gombe state Governor.

Mohammed was seen to have also threatened to lead a gang to attack the president and the governor.

“I swear to God, I am Usman Mohammed. I was born in Bambam, Balanga LGA Gombe State. O Allah, destroy Buhari and Inuwa Yahaya into pieces” he said.

“If I can get one million persons like me, I will lead them to attack and deal with them. Go ahead and put it on the Internet, let them come and arrest me if they wish.”

Mary Malum, the Gombe state police command spokesperson confirmed Mohammed’s arrest to SaharaReporters.

The police said Mohammed has been charged to court for committing an offence of intentional insult and intimidation against Buhari.
