Mr. Kashim Shettima, the Borno state Governor has disclosed that northern governors are working to resolve the crisis between Mr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the Kano Governor and Mr. Sanusi Lamido, the Emir of Kano.
Shettima made the disclosure on Friday while speaking to newsmen at the northern governors meeting in Kaduna.
The Borno governor say he is interested in making sure the crisis between Ganduje and Sanusi comes to an end, describing the Kano Governor as a friend of Borno state
He narrated how Ganduje adopted and granted scholarship from primary to University levels to 200 orphans from Borno State whose parents were killed by Boko Haram.
An action that gladdens Shettima heart.
“These children are provided with accommodation, feeding and being given very good education in Kano State under a special welfare programme that the Governor approved, Shettima said.
