Ogun state road in terrible condition despite  N250 billion capital allocation

Itoki road in Ogun state  has continued to be in a terrible condition despite the sum of N250 billion capital allocation.

From Itoki road to Alagbole/ Ojudu has become a death trap with residents complaining of numerous accidents been recorded on the road.

Apart from accidents, users of the road lament heavy traffic leading to lost of manpower and resources.

Tracka who exposed the terrible nature of the road said business activities are been affected in the community because of the inaccessibility of the road.

Worse still, Ogun state in her 2019  N400 billion appropriation law, sets aside the sum of N250.334 billion as capital allocation, an amount the state said will be used to fix roads and other basic  infrastructure.

This is even as Itoki road proves Ogun state capital allocation claim may not have been put in a proper use as residents continue to undergo predicament as a result of bad road network.

MAWA Foundation could not immediately reach out to Ogun state government for official response regarding the terrible road.
