Mr. Woodward, the CEO, Manchester United has warned the club Manager, Mourinho to stay clear off Rashford and other players saying they are not for sale in spite of any amount of money offered by any club.
Telegraph UK reports how Woodward told has Jose Mourinho that Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Luke Shaw are players United cannot exchange for any fee.
Martial has been tipped to bid bye to United this summer.
However, emerging reports show that Martial has discarded the idea of leaving United, and is negotiating a five-year deal believing Mourinho will be sacked.
Woodward stopped the ‘special one’ from signing Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire, a development that has made Mourinho angry and has affected his relationship with Man U management.
Not only that he refused Mourinho from signing those players, he has blocked Mourinho attempt from selling Martial.
Because of the bitter relationship between Mourinho and Woodward, Woodward has taken full control of all the United transfer deal, leaving Mourinho to make little or less influence on who the club signs or sells.
