Mr. Shehu Sani, former Nigeria’s federal lawmaker has challenged the police to prove that they killed 250 bandits in Kaduna by showing Nigerians the dead bodies.
The former lawmaker from Kaduna state challenged the police to invite the media and show the bodies of bandits police claimed to have killed.
He also appealed to the police to show those arrested during the operation.
Sani says showing the bodies of 250 Ansaru killed in Kaduna is important because people need to see before they believe.
Sani via his verified Twitter handle, tweeted, “My advice to our forces fighting the Ansaru in Kaduna; just invite the media and show them the ‘250 bandits casualties’ and those you captured during your operations; for most people nowadays, seeing is believing”.
The police say its Special Forces of Airwing, on Wednesday, attacked Ansaru Terror Group camp located in Kuduru Forest, Birnin Gwari of Kaduna State. The camp is said to be housing the largest number of armed bandits and terrorists.

Frank Mba, the police spokesperson said, police invaded the camp, based on the intelligent report that huge numbers of armed groups use it as their training ground.
Affirming the attack, Mr. Mohammed Adamu, the Police Inspector General, commended the brevity of his men and appealed to Nigerians to help volunteer intelligent reports to the police, pointing out, that will help officers flush out crimes and criminality in the country.
