The Nigeria police have detained a mother and her two-year-old baby for a reason the police are yet to justify.

Insider source says five other persons from the same family were also detained.

They are detained for having a misunderstanding with their neighbor.

The Divisional Police Officer of Unguwar Rogo Police Station where the detainees are kept vowed not to release them on bail, an insider source has said.

Mr. Inusa Abdullahi told WEST AFRICA REPORTERS (WAR) that all effort made to release the baby and her mother on bail did not succeed as the police DPO refused to set them free.

This action is Inhuman, efforts to get the DPO to release the Mother and her two-year-old on bail proved abortive. The baby is on Medication and detained with her Mother in a police cell that has no single female police officer, he added.

Efforts made by WAR to contact Mr. Abbas Kaura the Divisional Police officer proved abortive as he did not pick calls made to him
