Soldiers seen in video shooting #EndSARS protesters in Lekki not our personnel, photoshopped – Army

Nigerian army has again denied their involvement in the shooting and killing of #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Tollgate on Tuesday.

Mr. John Enenche, the Director of defence information, a Major General, while denying army involvement,  said the videos circulating online, showing military men that fired live ammunition at peaceful protesters in Lagos were ”photoshopped”.

The army on Tuesday stormed Lekki Tollgate where the #EndSARS protesters were holding a protest, opened fire at the crowd killing about 10 of them.

Enenche has since dismissed the videos, describing them as fake, and photoshopped.

I even got analysts. People that have analysed the various videos that were cropped and photoshopped put together. If not that I’m not permitted, I could have forwarded it to your Instagram” Enenche said.
