Traders, Task Force fight dirty over demolition in Dutse market

Traders and officials of the Federal Capital Territory task force on Tuesday fight dirty at the Dutse Alhaji market over shop demolition.

The Task Force officials were at the market to demolish shops built around shopping plaza after a quit notice given last week has expired.

However, traders at the market, located at the Bwari area council put up a stiff resistance, preventing the Task Force from demolition the structures.

Angry with the action of the Task Force who came to demolish their shops, the traders engaged them in a fight, chase them away and burnt down their office located in the market.
