Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian president has vowed that no corrupt person under his watch will go unpunished.
The president said, all government business must and shall be conducted openly to ensure transparency and accountability.
Buhari disclosed that his administration is working on reforms that will make it impossible for people to compromise and steal public funds.
The president made this known while speaking at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in Kaduna, where officials of the anti-corruption agency were graduated in detective fraud.
Mr. Garba Shehu, Media Aide to the president on media, in a statement on Tuesday, said the president is working on reforms that will make it practically impossible for anybody who steals public funds to escape justice.
Shehu quoted Buhari to have said, “My resolve is to ensure that the reforms are deepened such that there will be no hiding place for corrupt persons and proceeds of corruption”.
