We were forced to sign result sheets or lose N-Power job, witness tells Presidential election Tribunal

Mr. Mohammed Usman who was the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) agent for the just concluded 2019 presidential election has told the Tribunal how they were forced to sign election result sheet or risk been sacked from N-Power job.

Usman said there was no elections in his polling unit.

He said All Progressives Congress (APC) wrote the results and forced them to sign.

Usman testifying before the
Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal on Monday, said the polling unit he served as an agent was in Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa state.

He disclosed that he drew the attention of Independent National Electoral Commission to the development, but no serious action was taken.

When Mr. Yunus Usman, counsel to INEC sort to find out from him if he was complaining because his party did not win, he said his main concern is justice in the country.

“I am Muslim; I believe in destiny; that God will do what he wants to do, and I don’t care whether APC or PDP wins, all I want is justice for my country, that is why I am here,” he said.
