Xenophobia: Buhari to assist South Africa deal with criminal Nigerians

Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigeria president has pledged to help South Africa deal with criminal Nigerians who are engaged in all forms of crimes in the country.

Mr. Femi Adesina, Buhari spokesperson made this known in a statement on Monday while providing explanation of the discourse that happened between Mr. Ahmed Rufai and Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, South Africa President.

Mr Rufai, head of the National Intelligence Agency, led Nigeria presidential Envoy to South Africa to discuss ways of ending xenophobic attacks that have affected Nigerians and other foreign nationals in the country.

Adesina in the statement said, the Envoy assured South African government of Buhari readiness to assist the country to find a lasting solution to the involvement of few Nigerians that engage in criminal activities in South Africa.
