Zamfara Primary school in terrible condition despite N72.6 billion capital allocation

Children in Zurmi community of Zamfara state are learning under terrible dilapidated condition despite
 N72.610 billion capital allocation.

Mr.  Abdula’ziz Yari, former Zamfara state Governor, signed N135.4 billion
2019 budget of the state into law.

Explaining the budget, Yari said, the state allocated N72.610 billion for capital expenditure and N63.818 billion for recurrent expenditure.

The governor said, the main focus of the capital expenditure is to develop infrastructure and improve on standard of education.

Worse still, Abubakar Atiku Primary School Zurmi is in a terrible condition and needs urgent intervention.

Eduplana who exposed the school has since appealed to Zamafa state government to help fix the school.

Mr. Maikatifa Abdullahi, a teacher in one of the Primary Schools in the state told WAR, virtually all the public primary schools in the state are in dilapidated condition and need state intervention.
