Mr. Babagana Zulum, the Borno state governor has visited state Specialist Hospital, Maiduguri where survivors of Boko Haram attack were admitted and are receiving treatment.
The Borno governor spent a night at the hospital staying with the Boko Haram survivors and consoling them, WEST AFRICA REPORTERS (WAR) has learned.
Members of Boko Haram insurgents attacked Maiduguri, the Borno state capital few minutes, Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian president left the city on Wednesday.
Buhari was in the city to mourn with the state government and families of 30 persons killed by Boko Haram at the Auno area of Maiduguri on Sunday.
Shortly after Buhari left, Boko Haram members launched a fresh attack on residents of Damboa Street around Maiduguri NNPC depot.
In the attack, persons injured were admitted to the state Specialist Hospital, Maiduguri, while the governor was at the hospital to see and console them.
